To apply for the BDE position, you need a bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field. Apart from the educational qualifications, you must have at least 6 months to two and a half years of experience in sales or business development. Moreover, we emphasize the importance of good verbal, interpersonal and negotiation skills as well as initiative and teamwork capabilities. These types of qualifications ensure that you will be able to communicate with potential customers and understand how to be helpful to the firm.

As a BDE, your key responsibilities include, reporting directly to the Project Manager, you should be professionally qualified for seeking new business, maintaining relationships with existing clients and preparing proposals in a language that the people will understand. You will perform market research to identify the trends of the business and the activities of competitors. You will also engage with the sales force to design plans and achieve goals. Reporting on key performance indicators and undertaking team interactions to report on the initiatives and programs are other relevant duties to the position to foster performance and growth in the practices.
Business Development Executive salary ranges widely from 2.5 lakh rupees* to 5 lakh rupees* per annum based on experience and performance.
