To apply for the HR manager position, the ideal candidates should have a bachelor's or a master's (preferred) degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or equivalent. Apart from the degree requirement, the candidate should have a minimum of 6+ years of experience in a human resource management role, with at least 3 years of experience in leading a team of human resource executives that are executing HR duties.

As an HR manager, some of the common tools you will be using daily include Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), Human Resource Management Systems (HRMS) and Payroll management software. You should have advanced knowledge of tools such as SAP SuccessFactors, Workday or BambooHR. You should also be familiar with certain CRM software solutions, which you might need to work on sometimes.
