As a jr. software tester, you will be using renowned software testing tools like Selenium, JIRA, Bugzilla, and TestRail. Manual and automated testing will be emphasized hence you will gain experience in many testing types.

The pay scale for a fresher in this position begins from INR 2.5 lakhs* to INR 3.6 lakhs* per annum based on factors such as the qualifications, organization type, size and location of the company and performance given during the interview session.
As a junior software tester, you should have certain soft skills and expertise that include attention to details, and the understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), as well as the different forms of testing like - functional, regression or performance, along with the proficiency in Automation tools specifically Selenium.
