Role overview

We are looking for a skilled Senior Odoo Developer with 2.6 to 6 years of experience to drive the development and customization of Odoo solutions. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in the Odoo platform with strong capabilities in designing, implementing and maintaining Odoo modules. This role requires leading development projects, mentoring junior developers and ensuring effective integration of Odoo with other systems.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Odoo Development:
  • Design, develop, and implement custom Odoo modules and applications based on business requirements.
  • Customize existing Odoo modules to meet specific client needs.
  • Develop and maintain Odoo integrations with third-party applications and services.
  • Technical Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor junior developers and provide guidance on Odoo best practices.
  • Review code for quality assurance and ensure adherence to coding standards.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex issues related to Odoo development and deployment.
  • Project Management:
  • Collaborate with project managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope.
  • Develop project plans and timelines, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
  • Monitor and report on project progress, risks, and issues.
  • System Analysis and Design:
  • Analyze business processes and requirements to design effective solutions using Odoo.
  • Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and user manuals.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance:
  • Conduct unit testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
  • Perform system integration testing and coordinate user acceptance testing.
  • Support and Maintenance:
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing Odoo systems.

Required skills and experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering
  • Experience:
  • 2.6 to 6 years of experience in Odoo development.
  • Proven track record of successful Odoo implementations and customizations.
  • Experience with Odoo’s architecture, workflows and reporting tools.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in Python, XML, and JavaScript.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL databases.
  • Knowledge of Odoo framework, modules, and architecture.
  • Familiarity with Odoo development tools and methodologies.

Education and qualifications

BE/ME/B.Tech/M.Tech (CS/IT)/MCA or equivalent
