Senior Unity Developers Job Overview

We expect candidates for the Sr. Unity developer position to have at least 5 years of expertise with Unity, C#, and game development. You should have a track record of project management, mentoring junior developers, and a portfolio of completed projects on many platforms (e.g; mobile, console, AR/VR).

A senior unity developer assists in designing and implementing projects which will require your leadership skill. You will take overall supervisory and management responsibility for applications throughout the whole developmental phase granting the improvement of the performance and quality of the applications. Also, you will be providing guidance and leadership to other junior developers and be working with designers and artists as well as solving some intricate technical problems. You are expected to propose, contribute to, and participate in, project planning and code reviewing with the aim of following standards.

You will lead a variety of projects, from high-quality mobile games to immersive AR/VR experiences and interactive simulations. We work across industries such as gaming, education, healthcare, and enterprise-level applications, which means you'll be involved in complex and diverse projects that push the boundaries of Unity's capabilities.

A senior Unity developer can expect a base salary of INR 6 lakhs* to INR 18 lakhs* per annum. Other than a fixed salary we also provide a performance incentive* whereby employees are given bonuses and can be promoted to receive an annual salary increment based on his performance.

We follow Agile methodologies for our project development processes. As a Senior Unity developer, you will participate in sprint planning, daily tasks, and retrospectives. You will work closely with game designers to ensure that the team is meeting its goals and delivering quality games and apps in a timely manner. We expect senior developers to lead by example in following Agile best practices.

In the role of Sr. Unity developer, you will be able to work on the latest versions of Unity, develop with enhanced tools and profile performance assets. You will also have access to many assets from the Unity Engine and optionally many assets from the Unity Asset Store and you will be able to use and edit tools such as Visual Studio, Git, and various project management tools such as Jira or Trello.
