Duties and responsibilities

  • By guiding teams and addressing issues, Project Managers ensure projects stay on course and meet objectives, aligning with the company’s goals and expectations.
  • Complete assigned Project Manager work with guidance, peer review, and documented progress.
  • Follow the team's quality, security, communication, and Agile delivery practices.

Required skills and experience

  • Proven experience in managing software development projects, preferably with a mix of traditional and agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle (SDLC).
  • Familiarity with software development tools, programming languages and frameworks.
  • Ability to understand technical concepts and communicate them effectively to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent team leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously and handle tight deadlines.
  • Experience in risk identification, mitigation and contingency planning.
  • Ability to manage relationships with various stakeholders, including clients, developers and senior management.
  • Skilled in negotiating project scope and handling change requests.
  • Strong analytical skills to foresee challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying issues early in the project lifecycle.

Education and qualifications

BE/ME (CS/IT) or equivalent.
