We are seeking a motivated and eager-to-learn Trainee Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals with up to 6 months of experience who are looking to kick start their career in network engineering. As a Trainee Network Engineer, you will work closely with our senior engineers, gaining hands-on experience in network setup, maintenance and troubleshooting.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Assist in the installation, configuration and maintenance of network hardware and software.
• Support senior network engineers in daily network operations including monitoring network performance and diagnosing issues.
• Learn to configure routers, switches, firewalls and other network devices.
• Participate in the troubleshooting of network connectivity issues and assist in implementing solutions.
• Maintain documentation of network configurations, changes and upgrades.
• Collaborate with other IT team members to support overall IT operations and projects.
• Stay updated on the latest networking technologies and best practices.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Basic understanding of networking concepts, protocols and technologies (e.g., TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
• Familiarity with network devices such as routers, switches and firewalls is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
